Dear Mr. Marneweck,

i had given the notes from the church records to Mr. H.P. Ott at Maing.
After a few days I got his answer, and I send his letter to you.

Mr. Ott does a big research of all the church beoks at Maulbach, Dannenre
and the surrounding villages.

I want to comment Mr. Ott's letter:

The first mentioned Mormeweg dees not belong to the line of your
ancesters, though he very probably is a relativ to the second one.

For the second mentioned M. Mr. Ott suggests that he may be the man
beeing born at Dannenrod about 1692 and having the confirmation in 1706.
Or he comes from Schweinsberg, a village near by Dannenrod.

I have not yet succeded getting in centact with the minister at Schweins-
berg, I called him several times, but I got nobody. Maybe the minister
has retired and another pastor from another village fills in for that
time, But I'il try it again.
There is ene strange thing: If the (second) M. comes from Danmenrod,
he had ne contacts with his family. All the godfathers of his children
come from Griinberg. Did he leave Dannenred in trouble with his family ?
Just some werds to the abbreviations: Because the Church records (KB =
Kirchenbuch) start {after a fire) in 1706, all dates prior to this
are coumted back from one firm date. (err. = errechnet).
